Hi to All SAP guru's!

we are using Linux OS, is there a way to use the Smartform functionality of SAP in this OS. The error displays " current computer architecture not supported"

which version of SAP you are using ?

is your sap gui is on linux host or windows host? and which version of gui you used?

you cannot use Smartforms on PlatinGUI. You will have to emulate Windows about that.

Note 736147 - Transaction Smart Forms does not work with SAP GUI FOR JAVA

we are using ecc 6.0. and our gui is on linux. the version sapgui 7.10.

you can not use smartforms on GUI which is on linux, it is JAVA based gui.

what is my other alternative to customize forms in SAP such check vouchers, apv's, or's etc. Given that we are using Linux operating system.

Hi,

you can not customize forms in SAP without using SMARTFORMS transaction,

and you used the GUI on linux so you can't run that tcode.

you have to use SAP GUI based on windows if you want to customize forms in SAP.

so use windows host and install SAP GUI on that and use SAP.
