stock initialization

hi, when iam tring to initialize the stcok through MB1C, iam getting the error is

*Check Table T001K: entry does not exist*.

Because of this erroe iam not able to initialize the stock

can any one help me for to slove this error.

this can have various reasons, like plant not assigned to company code, or no valuation area defined.

go SM30 enter table t001K and click customizing to get to the various IMG entries.

actually i did all the assignments. but still iam getting the error. even though all the assignments are completed, when iam raising the sales order iam getting a error Maintain plant for sales area.

Dear sukumar

Go to OMS2, select the material type and double click on "Quantity/value updation" tab on your left screen.

Here see for the combination of "Valuation area" and "Material type", both the boxes "Qty updating" and "Value updating" are selected.

Most probably, it is missing at your end and hence you face the problem.
