Distribution of Budget to Investment Measures

Hi,

I finished the budgeting of Investment Program through IM32. When I try to distribute this budget to Investment Measure through IM52, the system says that no Investment Meeasures are available. I am surprised to see this mesage.

Please help.

Just tick the check boxes i.e., WBS Element, Orders. You don't have to mention the WBS elements or Orders.

In the initial screen of IM52, I have ticked those check boxes. Still the same message is coming.

Investment Management > Investment Programs > Budgeting in Program > Budget Distribution to Investment Measures > Specify Budget Distribution

1) Creation of Inv Program Definition

2) Creation of Inv Program Structure

3) Creation of Appropriation request

4) Approval of the App request

5) Creation of Project and release of App request

6) Create WBS

7) Cost Planning of WBS thru CJ40

😎 Transfer of Plan values to from WBS to Inv Program

9) Budgeting of Inv Program

10) Distributing Budget to Measures

While doing the 10th step, the system says that no measure are available. Please try to help me out.

Are you sure that there are measure assigned to the program?

Check the WBS created from the Apr request. You should see the IM progarm details here.

System should automatically assign the WBS to the investment program position, to which the appropriation request was assigned.

Mention the program and approval year and don't mention the Position ID in IM52. Tick Order, WBS, Apr request and then try executing.

I tried what you told. It is not working.

After creating the Inv Prog, I created an appropriation request. Then I approved the app request. After that I went to the "Measures/Assets" tab page of the app request thru IMA11. Here I created the project's top level WBSE.

I think this is enough to link the project and Inv prog position right?

System should automatically assign the WBS to the investment program position, to which the appropriation request was assigned.

Do you see the IM details on the WBS?

Hi,

Pls check whether ur position is assigned with investment measure (WBS Element)

Go to IM22, double click on the position > click on Assignemnets > Select WBS Element

U shud be able to see the WBS Elements assigned here if they r already assigned to that particular position.

How is the app request assigned to the inv program position?

I have doubt with regards to this.

When you create the Apr request in the control tab you mention the IM details that this request needs to be assigned to.

So I think I have done all the things correctly. Still the IM52 (budget distribution to meaasure) does not show the related measures.

I am clueless.

Also Pls check whether budget profile is maintained in ur project definition (should be same as maintained in Investment Program Type)
