Adapter type version 6.40 not longer working

For our SOAP interfaces we configured a Soap Adapter type SAP BASIS 6.40 (XI version 6.40).

The problem we had is that in our QAS environment two interface gives an connection error, "com.sap.aii.af.mp.module.ModuleException: either no channelID specified or no channel found for the specified party, service, and channel name".

After we change the SOAP Adapter type to SAP BASIS 7.10 it's working again.

The quesion is what can cause this behaviour, it was always working and no changes are applied.

Except that some new interfaces where transported from Dev to QAS, but those interface are new ones.

you are talking about Sender Soap adapter?

If yes, then I think WSDL you created does not have correct channel name and Business service.

as you said after importing this to QAS it is not working? check the CC name and BS name is same there or not?
