availability check ?

Hi all,

Even if the material is available (MB51) in stock, the sales order is not confirming. It is confirming in future. What could be the problem?

Thanks and regards,

vijay

Hi

Check the transaction CO06 back order processing if your avaliablility check permits you will find the doucments here against which your stock is already blocked. you can check the same in MD02 as well.

Hi

There may be many reason to it like:

1.You may have configured transportation lead time & picking / packing time - hence even if you make the material available today , it will calculate the other lead times and propose a date in the future

2. You may have created the stock just for your requirement but then there may be some other open sales orders which will take away the stock you created.Go to the Availability overview from your sales order and ensure that there is ATP quantity as required for your order/delivery

Hi,

Please check if the existing stock is blocked for sales orders. Check the status of stock in MMBE and double click on the stock details for detailed information of the stock.

And also as others suggested there may be lead time for Transportation.

hello, friend.

there can be many reasons for this. one of these is that it may take your company 1 or more days to set up the delivery and get the order to your customer. you can check for the transportation lead time in the material master and for delivery/transportation scheduling in the shipping point.

regards.
