Using WebDispacther for none-SAP platforms

Dear All,

I have one question in mind that would it be possible to use WebDispatcher for Lotus, MSExchage, ...etc. applications?

Ali,

SAP Web dispathcer is used in to channel request from the web to the SAP ABAP / JAVA application servers based on the prefix tables. In fact because of its capability to handle about 3000 request every minute it sits over the ICM (Inter communication manager).

Simply put, it is used only for SAP NETWEAVER suite.

The web dispatcher needs to connect to a Message Server process which is specific to SAP software...
