Dear All,
Please suggest how to take SQL Server Database backup from DB side?
System Info-
Portal Server (EP7)
MS SQL Server
Microsoft Windows 2003 Server
Suggest ASAP.
Thanks & Regards,
Sameer
Hi Sameer,
Just use enterprise manager as suggested by juan,
Logon to it using sidadm,it will take the user id by default just logon. Then select your server and then rightclick on the database go to tasks then backup.
You can schedule full or transaction log backup.
You can take the option of backing up to tape or disk, select your device and give a name as you want the backup file to be.
Reward points if helpfull.
Regards,
Vamshi.
