Automatic Output generation on order not happening all times

Hi Gurus,

We have maintained printer id and marked the print immediately box in the default settings of user parameters (SU10D). With this settings, the output should be created automatically at the time of saving the order.

In some cases, however, we are not having an automatic output inspite of the user parameters being maintained.

Can any one pl suggest if there is anything else to be verified?

Hi

Check the Output condition records .

Check the access sequence for which you have mainatined the records

Usually we maintain records against , Sales Organisation

But I guess you must have mainatined the records against the Sales Orgnisation /Customer Combination.

hello, friend.

check the documents where printing is not happening automatically. check the output data if the green light is on.

also check if there are incomplete items in these documents.

Thank you for replying Janathan.In these cases the docs are complete. Such docs do not have the output at all, unless manually triggered later.

hello again.

if you can manually trigger, check if you have existing output condition records using VV13.

if there is none, try creating output condition records using VV11. use BA00 as your condition type to use. test again. please post for your observations.

Hi,

The existing set up is like this:

1) V V13 record for sales doc type /sales org combination is maintained with the print immediately activated. The output device is not assigned here.

2) In user parameters (SU01d), the user has a default printer with print immediately activated.

In such case when the particular user creates the sales doc, the out put gets created at time of doc save, with the printer defaulted in user's parameters.

In some cases the output is not getting generated automatically..which is the problem.

Do we need to check any other settings?

It normally happens.. if printer is not assinged though you have valid condition records..
