stoping at import abap - ecc 6 installation on win2k3-ee-srv

hi all,

i am installing sap ecc 6 server. it's now processing import abap. the status is running 2, waiting 17, failed 0, complete 0, total 19. it likes this for long time (about 2 more hours). think my disk space is enough, i have 240GB in this partition. plz can anyone have pre-experience and tell my why?

Hi,

The phase "IMPORT ABAP" usually take long time to execute. Donot worry until there are no failed processs.

Don't worry Import ABAP takes a hell lot of time.

You can check what actually happening by checking sapinst.log file in your sapinst temp Installation directory.

Other wise you can check log from sapinst FIle-> View Log.

Inside sapinst.log you will find which process is currently imported. And then you can check the log of that individual process from your installation directory.
