In process inspection is possible in SAP but little difficult.
One suggestion.
Instead you split the halb material up to in-process stage as Halb1 and after in-process inspection stage as Halb2. Create seperate Material master, change BOM and Routing accordingly.
You can do QM lot procedure after GR production for Halb1 material. And with Result recorsing QE 50 with UD you manage Rework and Scrap by posting it to seperate storage location.
From that storage location you can handle Scrap and Rework.
Rework by Production order without material with order reference T code Co 07.
