RFC - Connection to Server

Hi Gurus,

How to set a RFC connection from one PC to Server.

Regarding i need to set a background job in the PC to download a files in the server.

Pls explain how to set the RFC Connection.

hi,

RFC's can ba maintained in SM59.

goto SM59.

click on creat.

give RFCdestination , connection type as 3 and description

goto technical settings give target system , ip , SID, instance no.

goto logon/security and give client, userid and password.

save and do test connection.

you can logon to target system by Remote logon button

This is the procedure to create RFC connection
