I just saw while looking in the PAM an entry in the "Technology Components":

Hi,

With the documentation that you type at this thread I have a theoretical idea about Solution Manager Enterprise Edition. BUT I have a question about technical area.

To install, Solution Manager Enterprise Edition, we need any add-on or similar to get these news funcionalties?

Thanks and regards

SolMan will get an Enhancement Pack (such as the ERP has three of them already) - so one will upgrade ST-400 to ST-401 (or something like that) - or maybe it will be renamed to ST-701 instead (since Solman 4.0 == Solman 7.0 since yesterday)

Hi Thom,

Check the given links (above Powerpoints) for more information and also http://service.sap.com/solutionmanager, check there in the middle at the very bottom.

> Is it free of charge?

I seriously doubt so.

It's somehow connected to the "Enterprise Support" - means, the new 22 % maintenance offer (instead of the now 17 %). Means: If you're going to pay 5 % more maintenance based on your licenses, then you will get it.

I was recently on a presentation @ SAP and I really can't comment on that without agitating myself too much - and it's too late already for that
