Record Update Trigger

Hi,

In our MDM system we experience an undesired effect with the "Record Update" event. We use it to trigger a workflow.

The following happens:

step 1: We add a new record and save. The "Record Add" event is triggered.

step 2: We edit the record and save. No event is triggered

setp 3: we edit the record again and save: "Record update" - event is triggered.

Conclusion:

Only the second save triggers the "Record Update" event.

This does not work in MDM 5.5.42.92 and 5.5.42.98

Anybody experienced this?

May be: this was the Bug which is fixed in next builds.

Meanwhile i also have build 5.5.42.98 on my system and having same problem as you are facing.

Hi Alok,

SAP Support responded to us that this is fixed in SP06 Patch 1. I already checked this and it works in 5.5.61.48.
