Proxy Issue

Hi Experts,

I hv one issue in the Proxy i.e,

when i am trying to create the Outbound/Inbound Proxy (using T code SPROXY ) first its asking Pakage and Prefix after giving that details one screen is opening (Screen name is Register Object) there its asking Accesskey.

SO, wht is this Accesskey?

How to solve this problem?

Pls help me to solve this issue...........

Mahesh,

Check ur prefix.......... it should either start with Y or Z.

If u give anything else it will ask for access key......... as other alphabates r reserved for Standard SAP Programs.

Hi,

For doing the development on R/3 initially you need the Developer's Access key.

You request it to your Central admin team. For e.g. even if creating the ABAP report at first time it will ask the developer access key.

For anykind of developments you need the access key only at first time.

If u already have access key then can u please create one replort, for report creation also it will ask for the access key for the first time.

Just to confirm that u ahve the access key or not?

Hi,

I got accesskey from basis people.

when i am crating an proxy its asking package name there i was given ZDEV as package name .

But its giving message like this:

Object can only be created in SAP package

so, wht i hv to do here.

Hi,

Did u created the package ZDEV from SE80 transaction.If not then create it first and then use it.

Select package from dropdown menu and write package name and click on specs button.

Hi,

From the error message it seems that package is not created.It is asking u to create package in Se80.

Can u go to SE80 and search for the package ZDEV,

if it is not created then it will give u message Package ZDEV is not exist create object.

SE80 is object navigator where u create package,program,function group n all...

May be you dont have developer access.Request your basis team for the access.Or try with different prefix.
