Dear all,
Does anyone had experience problem with Solution Monitoring - EarlyWatch Alert report is showing Avg. Availability per Week 87 % for the solution regarding the production satellite system.
The production is down only once per week for 1 and half hour when an offline backup is done and this is 99.1% availability per week.
Why the solution monitoring shows wrong value?
I'm sending these reports to managers responsible for SAP SOX controls and I realy need to have correct values for the availability of the system.

Hi Ruzica,
just a short answer.
System Availability in EWA has a quite simple calculation algorithm.
Calculation is based on an entry in ST03 collector log. The entry is written hourly.
Entry found: System was available in the hour
Entry not found: System was not available in the hour
In SAP Solution Manager you can an exact calculation based on CCMSPING. The results are visible in Service Level Reporting.

Thanx for your replay.
In the Service Level reporting for the satelite system in System Availability I have good % for the week days Monday is 92% and the other days are 100% (Availability for 24H), but the Performance Indicators
shows Avg. Availability for 24H 87%.
Do you know why?
