Connect from VC to SR on a local system

Hi all,

I experience problem connecting my VC to my local Service Registry.

I use the CE 7.1 SP04 and I want to use services from my local service registry within the VC.

I have some services published in the registry, but every time I try to search for them through the search option of the VC, it can't find them.

I have configured the UDDI_DESTINATION and CLASSIFICATION_DESTINATION wsdls acoording to the help pages for the local registry.

Has someone had the same problem?

Hi Vera,

In order to work with the Service Registry, you need to define at least one Physical System from your service registry as ABAP System through the NWA and also to define the Proxy Settings.

Thanks for the answer.

Does this mean that I can not use web services that I have published to my local service registry and that I have previously created with CAF for example?

How can these services be found within the VC or other applications without explicitly defining them as separate destinations?
