hai Friends,
Please help me understand following
1) How exactly requirement grouping helps.
2) In what scenario we are advised to use the same.
Thanks

Hi,
Requirement grouping is used to share account assigned materials across WBS elements / Projects. When a grouping WBS exists under which many WBSE/ Projects are grouped, materials procured /produced will be account assigned to grouping WBSE, making it possible to move the stock to any WBSE in the group and further consumption by assigned networks.
This is particularly useful in scenarios where procurement is initially done based on demand management, and WBSE level actual requirements are firmed-up later on.

Hi
Thanks for the reply. Kindly send me some info documents on how to create grouping WBS elements and config settings required for this. Please indicate after project WBS elements are grouped under grouping WBS element, shoud we run the MRP at individual project level or for the master grouping WBS element?
Thanks and regards
Saikishore G
