Hi All
How is the loading group determined in the sales or delivery?
Hi Kiran,
1)You can define the loading group in SPRO by using the following menu path
2)Logistics ExecutionShippingBasic Shipping Functions--Define Loading Group.
3)You can also define the loading group in the Material Master Data in the Sales Gen Plant Data view.
4) The loading group tells you how your material will be picked it is also used in the determination of the shipping point rule and also in the determination of the plant.
5) The loading group does not come in the sales order or the delivery it is used in the determination of the shipping point and the plant which does come in the sales order...
Do reward points if this helps

Loading group is in Material master(MM01) sales:general/plant tab..
Loading Grp is assigned to a grouping of materials that share the same loading requirements.
The system uses the loading group as well as the
Shipping conditions and
Delivering plant
to automatically determine the shipping point for the item.
Example
Different loading groups could consist, for example, of materials that require the same:
Equipment during loading (for example, a fork-lift truck)
Amount of time for loading
Loading point (for example, loading bay #6)

Hi,
it comes from the master data maintained in MMR. Loading group is to understand the loading requirements like weight, volume etc of a group of materials.Weight can be important for determining pick/pack time, the loading group from the material master record for determining the loading time. Along with the shipping conditions of CMR, Loading group of MMR and delivering plant we determine the shipping point.

Dear Kiran Kumar,
The loading group is determined from the material master record (Sales/Plant Data screen). You could, for example, specify a loading group that defines the goods must always be loaded with a crane or a fork lift
