confirmed quantity in sales order

Hi Gurus,

I am having problem with confirmed quantity of sales order.

I am trying to create sales order for finished product in assemble to order scenario,the sales order is generating the production order automatically but the schedule lines are not confirming the stock automatically here the requirement type is KEV which is ATO: Production order with consumption.

But some times it's confirming when I check the Item availability button. Could anybody suggest me why the system is not confirming the stock automatically.

hello, friend.

does the scenario involve sales order stocks? if so, your availability check will yield a positive result only when production makes good issue of finished goods to the sales order stock.

however, i am not certain if this affects the schedule line confirmation of order quantity. the others may help you more on this.

It's Sales order stock only. The system reserves the stock automatically whenever we create new order.

did you check stock running MMBE?
