Hi,
We have requirement to navigate between iViews from two different VC models. How can we achieve this? References to any examples or doc's will be very helpful.
Thanks in advance!

Dear Friend,
My colleagues here are right, you can't jump from one iView to other if they are not in the same model. You could try use a URL to pay with them. With this you are able also to pass values between them using URL.

Hi Atul,
Thanks for your response, but the example show navigating between 2 iViews from within same model, but our requirement is to navigate to iView in different model? Please advise?
Thanks!

My understanding is that VC 7.0 iViews need not be part of the same model, as long as they are on the same page. These iViews will interact using the client-side eventing, so that the output of the first iView serves as the input to the second. Eventing in the portal is based on the use of the Enterprise Portal Client Manager (EPCM), an object defined by the portal client framework to handle functions such as client eventing.
I can not try this since I have upgraded to CE 7.1. Do let me know if it works.
Cheers-
Atul
