Query on Cross Selling -Priority

Dear Gurus,

Pls clarify the following query

When we are creating the cross selling for a perticular product why we should we keep the B in customer sales area data by typing XD02

Generally cross selling depends on Product not customer. Why we will change

Pls provide me the clarity

Hi,

though cross selling is material dependant still it is very important for the business to understand and analyze which products actually have been selected along with a particular material and whats percentange of customers attributing this.

Based on this data, the business can again make better sales strategies.

You can then analyze the results in the Business Workbench or Retail Information System to see how successful your cross selling strategy is (that is, how frequently a suggested article is actually purchased by the customer).

Also its a way to link that those customers flagged B do only need to have this function may be for the reason that all customers may not necessarily be interested in buying other link products than what they want.

How I can customize in order to change the suggested article instead of copy the suggested article in other item line.

I would like to change the article by the suggested article
