How to identify the type of synchronization whether it is Smart or Generic?
Hi,
open MEREP_MON in the middleware and start a sync. Do you see anything there (except MIAUTH?)
If yes, then you have smart sync, if not you either have no app installed or you ave generic sync app.
What the difference is - that is described in the first answer
Hope this helps to solve your issue!

Oliver

Hi,
In case of smart sync, mobile client application calls syncBOs that are present on the mobile middleware. For generic sync calls are directly made to the backend.
