hi all, i am installing SAP ecc 6 IDES server. i got a list of files which made me confused. there are 4 items in the list as following,

NW 2004s SR2 UC-Kernel 7.00 Wind. Server on IA32 32bit Upgr. 51033032_12

NW 2004s SR2 Kernel 7.00 Windows Server on IA32 32bit Upgr. 51033032_4

NW 2004s SR2 Kernel 7.00 Windows Server on IA32 32bit 51033032_3

NW 2004s SR2 UC-Kernel 7.00 Windows Server on IA32 32bit 51033032_11

i will specify the kernel folder when i install it. can someone tell me which one from the above list will be used during my installation?

and by the way, what is the difference btw UC-kernel and kernel?

any response will be awarded!

thanks a lot

samson

UC stands for Unicode. First two are for Upgrade and you would want to select one of the last two - whether unicode or non-unicode version of install.
