is it possible to restart the messages which went to application error?

Hi gurus,

One queue got failed with some messages in R/3 system. we restarted the queue after some time. we noticed that the messages went to application errors got restarted. Is it due to restarted queue? Can we restart a message which went to the application error? please help me to understand.Thanks.

Yes you can, except for BE other modes allows you to restart the queue and tries to restrt from the point it failed....if it able to push the data out it well...
