Hi all,
I have a form view that contains many input fields. Is it possible to open a new table or a chart if an input field is clicked? If yes then how?
Please respond.

Navigation on a button is easy. I haven't tried navigation on an input field. Here is something you could try:
1. Switch to the Layout perspective.
2. Select the input element and choose Properties
3. Switch to the Action tab and create a custom/system action.
4. In the Design perspective have a navigation from your form to the table on the action created in (3).

This cannot be done by clicking on an input field but can be done by creating a button on a form view.

I have tried this but this is not working. I have tried after creating a button and its working. But there are 2 issues i want to discuss. Cant I do that just by clicking an input field instead of creating a button?? secondly i want to display data in a new screen instead of a pop up. is that possible??

Hi Govindu,
Its not working without a button. I have tried with all steps. but it does not do anything on clicking on input field.
I proceed as follows:
I create a custom action "Details" on the input field. Then I draw a line from out port of form view and configure it for action "Details" and then pop up and then a new iview. In the iview, I create a chart. Then i deploy but it does not do anything in clicking the input field.
I dont want to give nay inputs or outputs for the pop up.
For new screen, should i place new iview in separate layer or what?
Have I missed anything??
Please respond.
