J2EE engie stopping frequently

Hi all,

We are working on EP 7.0.The J2EE engine is stopping very frequently.After 1 r 2 mins again restarting automatically.Wat might be te reason?

Please paste the dev_jcontrol

This is the trace for the Jcontrol process.

It will tell you how far the start-up process has progressed and approximately where it has failed.

Hai,

Check the license is valid or not. For Portal,you need to install the J2EE-Engine license separately.

sometimes issue with memory.. you could increase the heap size in configtool.. and they try..

Hello Rajesh,

you can find the resaon in the log files in the work directory.

I typed up how to analyze the startup of the engine a while back, send me an email and I can send you the doc. I cant paste it into here because of the formatting.
