but route in not comming in to sales order?
Hi,
the factors on which route determination is based are as follows:
Departure Zone determined from Shipping Point+Shipping country
PLUS
Shipping conditions from customer (if you have selected the shipping conditions for the sales document type then this will over write the entry in the customer master record)
PLUS
Transportation group from material
PLUS
Destination Zone (Customer master)
PLUS
Weight Group (Optional - If at all the route determined in the sales order has to be changed according to the weight this is done in the delivery document)
Check whether you have entered the correct transportation group in the material master . Also check whether you have specified the transportation zone in the customer master. Go to OBD2 - select the account group of the customer - double click on the same - in the fiels status docuble click on general data - double click on address - for transportation zone click on "Req. entry" - save the settings.
Go to XD02 - select your customer master - enter the transportation zone in the first screen - it will be automatically displayed in the shipping tab of sales area data also. - SAVE the settings.
Now go & create the sales order. the route should be displayed automatically.
Reward points if solution helps.

Routes are determined depending on the following criteria:
Country and departure zone (departure zone of the shipping point) - Please check shipping pt Definition
Shipping conditions agreed in the sales order - check at VOV8 (document type) or customer master.
The shipping condition is defined in shipping point determination.
Transportation group of the material - check at material master in MM02Country and transportation zone (receiving zone) of the ship-to party - check at XD02 (general data)
If the above are defined and assigned properly in the respective places, ur problem will definitely be solved.
Hope it is useful..
Reward points if useful..

hello, friend.
for simple SD route determination, you also have to assign the transportation zone to both the plant-shippint pt (origin) and another transportation zone to the customer master (destination).
then, just check in your route determination that origin transportation zone to destination transportation zone will propose a route.
regards.
