Business Area determination

Dear all,

When i am creating sales order Business area is not determined in Sales Order but it reflects in Material document.

Can u plz send me the details about the same.

Also i have one doubt: i have difine Business area by sales area wise, it means i am not maintaining division in material master .

But still Business area is not come at sales order level.

Plz send some details about the same.

Dear PM

The standard SAP R/3 System contains three rules for determining a business area:

Rule 1: Allocation of business area for each plant and division

Rule 2: Allocation of business area for each sales area

Rule 3: Allocation of business area for each plant and item division

So Check in IMG SD --> Basic Functions --> Account Assignment/Costing --> Business Area Account Assignment.

Here you have to assign Business Area depending upon your requirement as to how it should flow in sale order either for the combination of plant and division, or sales area etc.

Hi PM.

you need to maintain Rules for Business Area 1 or 2

If it is 1 Assign B.Area to Sales Area

If it is 2 Assign B.Area to Pant and Division..

This configuration u need to do in this path..

IMG--> S & Distribution ---> Sales Document -

---

> Sales doct Header --- in this last step

Fine out in this path it self..
