How to use OPENPS?

Please tell me what is the use of OPENPS?

And how can we use it.

Open PS enables to exchange projects between MS Projects and SAP PS.

You need to have access to download Open PS software from service market place.There are quite a lot of consulting notes regarding Open PS which are quite useful.

Hi

1. Open PS offers the following options:

Create projects in Microsoft Project (MSP) and transfer them

to SAP PS

Create projects in SAP PS and transfer them to MSP

Change projects and transfer them in both directions

2. Open PS is based on the EPS (External Project Software)

interface. You can use this interface to export project

structures to external software and import it back from them.

3. We deliver Open PS for Release 4.5 and 4.6 systems.

It creates a concrete link with Microsoft Project. You must

have Microsoft Project 98, Version SR-1 US installed on

your PC.

4. You can download Open PS from the Internet.

SAPNet contains a brief description of Open PS for

Microsoft Project.

You can download the program and its documentation from

there.

5. Call up SAP's Internet page and add "/ps" to branch to the

Project System page.http://sapnet.sap.com/ps

Go from there to the EPS 4,0 interface and jump to Open

PS for Microsoft Project.

6.Notes 180418 and 144467 describe how to install Open PS.

Dear OpenPS Experts,

Can anybody tell me please whether OpenPS Ver 2.02 be used with Microsoft Vista as an Operating System and MS Project 2007 as the application? If not, then does any one have any idea whether SAP has any plans to come up with newer version of u2018OpenP4MSPu2019 to address MSP2007 with Vista?

Your inputs are valuable in this regard and will be greatly appreciated.
