SAP Router String Configuration

Former Member

Hello Guys,

I have been trying to get for a solution for configuring sap router.

I have gone thru all the related notes and threads too.

My router is working fine with may be appropriate permissions set in the routtab file.

When I am trying to test it in SM59, i get the error message -

Error Details ERROR: partner '59.90.170.102:sapdp99' not reached

Above IP is my static IP provided by ISP.

My question is how will my internal LAN IP be able to ping my static IP with CCProxy in between.

I searched for options in ccProxy but in vain.

Cause of this none of conenctions are working neither from SAP to my netwk and vice-versa.

Please Help !!

Regards,

Sat.

Hi Satya,

Actually there should be a registered public ip of your router host with the SAP.Once you have registered the ip that should not be changing. Then you have to install the snc certificate to the router. Also in the rfc connection you have to make sure that the router string should be properly maintained.

Also make sure that you have maintained system data in the service market place and you have made the entry of the router while openeing the service connection to SAP.

/H/<your local ip/S/sapdp99/H/194.39.131.34/S/sapdp99/H/oss001.

Should be the string you have to use in the RFC.

Reward points if helpfull.

Hello Vamshi,

Whatever you have mentioned, all have been accomplished.

My problem is diff. My internal LAN system are not able to reach my saprouter to connect to SAP Router at SAP.

As I have already mentioned the error in SM59 -

Error Details - ERROR: partner '59.90.170.102:sapdp99' not reached

59.90.170.102 is my real IP.

I am able to telnet port 3299 on my system and sap end sucessfully.

But not from my internal LAN.

You have any other suggestions?

Hi Sataya,

This might be a premission problem.Try adding the permissions in your routtab and rerun the router on the new routtab

saprouter - n. Also check whether your router is up and running.

Vamshi.
