problem with Posting periods

i have problems while Good reciepts MB1C

i am getting this error

Posting only possible in periods 2007/12 and 2007/11 in company code 1287

Message no. M7053

when i try close the periods for the following periods i am getting this error log

Hi,

It seems your previous period is 11 2002 and 02 2007. You need to close each and every period after this and then only you can come to the current period. Meaning, if your previous period is 11 2002 then u need to close 12-2002, 01-2003 and so on till 12 2007.

Hi,

Try to run MMRV and find out the Current Period and Previous period. Then do MMPV.

Check the Posting Period Variant for the Company code assigned in SPRO->Financial Accounting Global Settings->Company Code Parameters.

In OB52 Check for that posting period variant for all account types specifically for M which is for material movements. If the TO periods are not in 2007 then Change it to 2008 period 12.

Got it.

Goto transaction OMSY. Check whether the company code you are trying is available. It won't be there i guess. Add that company code and the fiscal year and the period.

It seems ur settings are ok.

Just check in MMPV with Check Periods only and find out for period 12 2007. Check the msg the system displays.

Now you try MB1C you should not get this error.
