We have some PI7.0 systems
If we compare the user list between SU01 and PI's UME, we see that they can be quite different.
Could you explain why?
Thanks!

Basically the user at the both the palcess should be same specially the dialog users, the only thinh when you create an user in the SU01 and activavte it gets relected in the UME. and when you create the user on the JAVA side you need to restart the server to be able to c in Su01....apart from this there can be several user in the ABAP and JAVA UME which are specific to the envinorment.

Hi Nisar,
That is not true. You do not need to restart the server in order to see users created on one side or the other.
Hi qy z,
If you did not install the system as a dual-stack system, it can be the case that you have users in the database of the AS Java left over from before changing the back-end to an AS ABAP system.
However, the most common reason why users find different users is that you are looking at one ABAP client in SU01, but the UME is using a different client, or even different system.
Are sure you are looking at the same user data.
If you still find different users, are the users missing in the AS Java or the AS ABAP system or both?
