How do we delete the central instance and transfer it to another
server?
Our current setup is that we have one server wherein the DB and central
instance are installed.
I'd like to transfer the central instance to the different server.
I have some Dialog Instances this instalation.
I performed the installation of new server until the test of ddic get error, the installer can not authenticate the password ddic.
How do I fix this?
There is documentation regarding this procedure?
The new license I apply before starting the installation or after?
Thank you very much.

I need reinstall CI on the new server with same SID, but the database Will remain on the same server that today.
I have some dialogs instaces installed and also the XI and BW pointing to the installation.
I want to keep the new machine with the same name, and machine's IP old machine.

Hello Marco,
I haven't done an installation now for quite some time but what I do rememeber is that while installing CI SAPinst asks you probably for DB server. Here you can give your DB information.
But I would personally recommend that you wait for the others to answer this as well. Juan may be you can answer this more precisely.
Regards.

Hello Marco,
You are talking about Hardware Migration.
You need to reinstall CI on the new server with same SID and then copy the database.
