Text in overview not possible for sales document type contract

Hello,

I can't put the header text (text ID 0001) in the overview in transaction VA41 (creation of a contract). There is a conflict with the screen sequence group VT. (Error in transaction VOTXN) but I don't find how to change the screen sequence group

run VOV8 and check seq.group for your WK1 - it should be WK (Value contract)

make sure that:

Display criteria UALL

FCode for overv.scr. UER2

run VOTXN and check Text procedure usage (Sales doc - Header) for your WK1

I receive the following error message :

No text edit control possible for order type WK1

Message no. VC249

Diagnosis

You want to reference a note text (text in overview screen) to order type 'WK1'. The order type has screen sequence group ''. The overview screens for this screen sequence group, however, cannot be used with text edit control.

System response

You cannot enter a text ID.

Procedure

Reset the text ID or assign order type 'WK1' to a different screen sequence group in Customizing for order types.

Hi,

Change the Screen Seq Group for the Contract typeWK1 to AU. As this text in overview will work only for AU, AG, RE and AMK Screen Seq.Groups.

Pl. revert for any further clarifications.

If I change the screen sequence group to AU I cannot put my quantity in the contract. I have the following error message :

Please enter target quantity in quantity field of the same name

Message no. V5047

Diagnosis

You tried to enter an order quantity for a service item.

System response

For service items, the target quantity forms the basis for the quantity field.

Procedure

Enter the quantity of the service item in the 'Target quantity' field.

I have to go in my position details to add the quantity. And that's not very practical.

Hi,

The possibility is limited to these screen groups only. Refer SAP Note 862099.

You might have to change the text procedure to "Text Display while Copying" instead of showing the text in the overview screen. This could be a possible solution in your case.

the text procedure is already "Text Display while Copying" so that doesn't help either ....
