Netweaver Installed

This is going to be a dumb question but how would I know if Netver has been installed? The person before me thought that it was installed but I don't think it is. We are running ECC 6.0 if that means anything to anyone. Thanks.

Best way to check is to access the SAP sysem using the SAPgui.

If your sap server is started under windows - go to task manager and you will see lot disp+work processes

and if its in unix box then you can see dw processes if you give ps-eaf | grep dw*

Another way to check under windows is to go to MMC and check the status of the server. If the server is appearing there then you can try starting it if its not started.

Hope this would help you.

Thanks and Regards,

Can u find /usr/sap/<Instance> directory ? You can go to /usr/sap/<instance>/j2ee/cluster/server0/version.txt and find out the version as well.
