Communications Channels missing in Communucation Channel Monotoring

Former Member

Last week we migrated the System Landscape directory from the Development system to the new Productive System. I ran through the SAP XI Readiness Checks guide, and everything seemed OK.

Today, I noticed that when I go to the Communications Channel Monitoring screen of the Runtime Workbench, all of the communication channels are missing. They seem to be working to some extent however, because a polling file adapter will pick up a file and delete it from the directory.

Other problems that have appeared:

In Integration Engine configuration, when I run the check, it gives a red light stating "No Access to System Landscape at present".

Successful tests performed:

SLDCHECK passes tests

TOny.

Make a full CPACache refresh

http://server name:Port/CPACache/refresh?mode=full

Also have u checked whether a business sys is present for XI in SLD

I'm doing the full cahche refresh now via a web browser. ITs taken over 10 minutes so far and the progress bar is about halfway done. This is a fairly new system with about 30 different scenarios.

Is this a normal delay?

check this notes:

https://websmp230.sap-ag.de/sap(bD1lbiZjPTAwMQ==)/bc/bsp/spn/sapnotes/index2.htm?numm=856597&nlang=E...

To check if the channel is available, you can open the following URL from your browser.

http://host:port /XISOAPAdapter/HelperServlet?action=FindChannel& channel=p:s:c

where host is the host name, port is the port number, p is the optional party name, s the service name, and c is the channel name, respectively.

This will show a page with the channel information if the channel is available. If the channel is not available, please make sure that your channel name is correct and the adapter engine's CPA cache is valid.

Hi Nisar,

Testing to see if a communication channel exists gives me this error:

java.lang.Exception: invalid channel (party:service:channel) = <null>

To check the error in IE, I ran SXMB_ADM->Integration Engine Configuration->Configuration->Check.

Also, if I try to edit the global configuration and try to read from the SLD, I get the error message

"No access to system landscape at present"

BR,

Tony.
