Former Member

Hi All,

For some reason, every now and then the File (ftp) adapters we have running just stops polling without any errors. If i look in the RWB-communication channel, i dont find anything wrong. What could be the problem?

Thank you in Advance,

Danny

Hi,

Is the FTP server, processing mode set to delete. If it is in the test mode the performance of the server will be affected. So try to test it with delete mode.

Also try to set the timeout parameters properly. so that it will time out after appropraite time interval

The processing mode is set to Delete. Sometime there is files, sometimes not.

How does the property timeout work?

Hi,

You can always keep the processing mode to delete and increase the polling interval and also set the time out parameters this will make your FTP server available at all times. Also if you expect the files only at a particular duration then even you can set the "Availablity time planning" in CC, to set the channel to be available for processing only at that times.
