Line item approval workflow

Hi Gurus,

I hav the following query in Line item approval workflow:

Is it possible to proceed the Shopping cart further if all the line items r not yet approved by all approvers? I mean, part of the line items r approved and some items r not yet approved. Can anyone explain me clearly?

hi,

It is possible only to control the approvers at the item level.

system will not create follow on documents untill whole of the shopping cart is approved.

example :

Shoping cart item 1 --> based on certain conditions is send to Manager2

shopping cart item 2 --> based on certain conditions is send to manager3 for approval.

Manager2 and Manager3 can respecitvely work with thier workitems.

they can approve (or) reject thier workitems.

based on that --> when all the workitems have been approved (or) rejected --> status of the shopping cart will changed -->

and then the generation of follow on documents.
