SRM MDM Catalog

Hi,

I m working on SRM MDM catalog with SRM version 5.0,MDM version 5.5 SP04 patch 2.I m using standard business content for SRM MDM catalog 1.0.

The SRM EBP settings have been done ,I have deployed the two .sca files .However, When i logon to the following link:

http://<J2EE server>:<J2EE port>/webdynpro/dispatcher/sap.com/tc~mdmsrmui/MDM_SRM_UI_App

with username and password as configured in MDM it gives me an " Login Failed " error.

The user has role UI config manager role assigned to it .

I cant figure whats wrong.Can anyone suggest what has to be done either from SRM or MDM Side?

Hi ,

The user should be given roles as Catalog user , Catalog Manager and UI Configuration Manager. Once u give these roles to the appropriate user defined in the MDM Console and the SRM Call structure, you will not face that error anymore.

Hi,

set a pssword for admin/master in MDM Console.

Now logon with username/password.

Now it should work.

Hi,

The URL is for UI configuration.

1. Check the repository has been loaded

2. Logon and Master, no password

the repository is loaded and i hav checked using Master but still it gives an error

Let your Basis team stop and restart the J2ee engine and retry. This has helped me before.
