Dear all,
I want to install SAP Netweaver 2004s on RAC. There are 2 servers that connected with SAN storage. How to configure DB1 and App1 on server 1, DB2 and App2 on server2. When one server goes down, one other server still lives.
Can you have any document about RAC for SAP?
Thanks very much,
Tan

Hi again
It depends on your platform and cluster implementation, but in most cases you will implement SAP HA with a standalone enqueue server and a enqueue replication server. Check this thread for more infos:
Basically you have:
Node A: Enqueue/Message Server (ASCS00) + Dialog Instance
Node B: Enqueue Replication (ERS01) + Dialog Instance

Hi Tan
On which platform are you going to install RAC? We have it running on SLES 10 linux on x86_64 hardware.
On linux you will use OCFS2 as cluster filesystem, and CRS (oracle clusterware) to cover HA, combined with SAPCTL to cover SAP HA.
Documentation is here: [SAP on Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC)|https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/ora?rid=/webcontent/uuid/e9071e42-0d01-0010-4bae-dafd2e524b57] [original link is broken];
