GUI 7.10 Patch Level 3 issues

Hi,
I have just moved to Vista Business, SAP GUI 7.10 Patch Level 3 and Office 2007 all on one go and im finding that when i export my data to Excel just as a normal table, date columns are not formatted as dates, this ending up to look like a string of numbers. Once i format the column to Date everything is fine.
If i go to Patch level 6 will this fix my problem, or is there any fix for this?
Also i noticed that when you press the 'restrict value range' button on some fields, this causes the GUI to crash, is anyone else experiencing this, or know if the patch will also address this.

Nope,
looks like even Patchlevel 7 ( ! ) does not solve the problem.
Sorry to have no better news, I'm currently looking for remedy myself.

Patch 6 addresses many issues, but cannot say if your problem will be fixed. why not try it? you don't have much to lose.
