advantages of adobe forms over sapscripts and smartforms.

Can anyone pls mention atleast 2 to 3 major differences between sapscripts,smartforms and adobe forms?

I want to know wat r the drawbacks in each n how we rectified it in adobe forms.Are there any disadvantages in adobe forms??

One disavantage of this solution is that there's few print program ready for using adobe forms .

Hi Martina,

Adoe Forms get a more user friendly interface for developping.

It exist over 2000 standard Adobe Forms , but most of them are for HR and FI module.

Now there's another think to take care , it's the "print program" . If you want to replace a sapscript or a smartforms with an Adobe forms you have to make a lot of modification in your print program in order to use the function module generated .

I'm currently on a project of migration of sapscript to adobe forms and we see that's a udge works for this and it's difficult to justify it with a correct R.O.I

Adobe forms are easy to design. based on requirement you can design the adobe forms as print based, offline and online forms.Visually disabled people can access the data in adobe form ( satisfies the govt laws Section 508 in US ,Barrierefreiheit in DE ,New ISO standard in EU ) using screen readers.
