How to set focus to a select-option field?

My WDA applications start up without focus unless I explicitly set it. However, the does not seem to be a complete solution for setting the focus under all circumstances.

Unless I set it explicitly in the program ( and remember to change it when the layout is adjusted) the user has to click before they can type, every time they get a new page

Also, I can explicitly code the focus for normal view elements, but I have not figured out how to set it for select-options.

Has anyone found a complete solution to focus management?

I am running NW07 with SPS14.

Hello Russel,

SelectOptions component doesn't offer a possibility to set a focus from outside. The

component itself does not set the focus per default as this would move any other

focus on the screen to it.

The impression I get is that this whole focus thing is still in development (at least I hope it is...)
