How to reset Status

Dear Expert,

How to reset User Status in SO? The scenario is after APPROVE User Status and user make some changes, how to reset User Status back to PENDING APPROVAL automatically so Supervision need to set APPROVE User Status again.

I am thinking using user exit userexit_savedocument_prepare? Could it be done?

TC: VKM3 clearing sales document.
