Shipping Notifications (ASN) in Self Service Scenario

Hi,

I have a question about Shipping Notification (ASN).

Plan Driven Scenario (Procurement of Direct Materials scenario SUS-MM) allows you to create Shipping Notifications (ASN) in SUS, after that, the system automatically creates an inbound in SAP MM.

The shipping notifications are based on a PO created on MM and released to SUS. But what happen when the PO is created directly in SRM EBP (Procurement of Services and Indirect Materials, scenario SUS-EBP or Self Service Procurement)????

Is it possible to use Shipping Notifications (ASN) when the PO is created in SRM EBP?????

If it's not possible to do that, Can you give me a reference to know what is the correct way to send notifications between SAP SUS and EBP.

Is there any document about that???

In simple

ASN ( advance shipping notifications) are involved only in the MM-SUS scenario.

ASN's are mainly used in the procurement of direct materials ( plan driven procurement).

and this function is not available in SRM-SUS scenario , in the case of SRM -SUS scnerio , you can create confirmations with respect to the services performed by the supplier.
