ESS Software Components Version Info

Our Landscape:

SAP EP 6.0 SP 14 (running on Web AS Java 6.40 SP 14)

SAP ECC 6.0 SP 12 (we upgraded recently)

We are implementing ESS.

What would be the best option for us:

Option 1:

Using ESS 100 SCs (ESS 100 and PCUI_GP 100) ignoring the fact that this is built for ERP 2004 (Web AS ABAP based on 6.40)

(OR)

Option 2:

Using XSS 600 SCs (ESS 600 and PCUI_GP 600) ignoring the fact that this requires EP 7.0 (Web AS Java based on 7.0)

Did any one have similar environment working ?

Suggestions really appreciated.

Hi ,

WebDynpro in Web AS 6.40 and Web AS 7.00 are compatible. There should not be any problem if you use option 2.
