Hello,
My company recently installed XI recently and tested. Everything looks ok. But, when i try to access cache notifications from my ID/IR It is not giving any notifications. Is there anything related to license.
What are restrictions SAP has with temporary license for XI.
Thanks,
Srinivasa
Hello,
I can create and work with Objects. I was told by BASIS consultant that It will not give cache notifications in IR and ID. Also, he is true and i could not see them.
But, my objects are activated. Then, why cache notifications are not showing.
Thanks,
Srinivas

Firstly in the installaiton and configuration document SAP clearly mentioned VALID SAP LICENCE is required to run the Runtime Cache and when they say this they mean it.....
recently i have installed PI7.0, during configuraition i found SXI_CACHE not getting updated...i got the error ICM_CONNECTION_ERROR or NO_BSYSTEM FOUND somtime like this.....not always but most of the times. i applied valid licence then it vanished.
Coming to your question why you are not able to c cache
1. you must c the cache contents in IR and ID, if you have imported the SAPBASIS objects and tryu to develop a simple inteface like FILE TO FILE....
2. your IR coent will run file only ID content will throw error..
i think if your confugraiont is fine you should be able to c the cache contnets tomake sure it is working fine you need to apply Licence
Hi
witch error message you get there?
have you tryied to create some object, activate it and use it? have it worked?
help us help you.
regards.
