Need to open a closed Project in PS.

Hello,

We closed a Project in SAP R/3. But now we feel that some more invoices needs to be posted to the said project.

So we tried to change the system status from 'closed' using transaction CJ02.

SAP doesn't allow us to open a closed project.

Please advise how to proceed further.

Hi Sadasivam,

What is the error message you are getting while opening the project?

When you goto Edit -> Status-> Cancel close for a closed project , the system status is set to TECO. Then you have to goto Edit-> Status->Cancel close Techn.

Please try this and let me know the feedback.

Check the authorization of the user who is trying to do this.

Kadiam is right, it is always possible to reset/undo CLSD status back to REL or TECO, as CLSD can be set from REL/TECO.

You can set the status of the WBS back to TECO- Technically Completed. And system shouldn't stop you if you've tried to set this status.

What's the message you get when doing so?
