labels in scripts & smartforms

hi experts,

we have a great diffrence between script & smartform, that in one we can create label, n in other we cant.

first what is a label?

how to crete it?

what is the use of it?

can anyone plz help me to know abt this. give me the information regarding scripts & smartforms both.

Hi,

This is not correct, it is possible to create labels using smartforms.

The output for a label is not created any differently to any other form, the difference is only the dimensions of the output. A label is usual some sort of sticker that is attached to a package or material identifying either the contents or its destination.

It is also common to produce labels using third party software (Zebra is a well-known one) and in this case your SAPscript or Smartform passes raw data and the software formats the label.
