why doesn't PI support VAN??

Hi,

PI with inbuilt adapters not able to support VAN, it needs go with 3rd part seeburger adapter.

For SFTP you need VAN access and with PI Integration server does not supprot the SFTP connectivity.

This may be one of the limitaion but that was overcome with external adapters.

The SEEBURGER "VAN Access Adapter" for PI which is mainy used for supporting various VAN access interfaces is also able to to scriptable secure FTP.

PI does not have standard adapter available for VAN communication. But u may use Seeburger adapter for this purpose or u may develop ur own adapter.

Hi,

PI support VAN or FTP adapters but u need to use PI with third party adapters like seeburger.

VAN and FTP are third party adapters which is provided by Seeburger so u need to buy the Seeburger license inorder to use the VAn adapters with PI.

Seeburger has other adapters also like AS2,X400,OFTPS etc.

I hope u r talking about VAn adapters only.
